About the piece:
This piece was really my breakthrough piece, the first piece of content that went viral - a little tiger face that over 500,000 people connected with. It changed the trajectory of my life, art went from being a passion project to now a stable part time job because of this painting.
At the time of painting it, I was feeling pretty defeated with my artistic progress - my technical skill was good but my pieces felt.. flat. Like I was painting these animals but they gave the same feeling as a still life bowl of fruit. Technically impressive but meh. No feeling. This piece was my first attempt at loosening up, being slightly less dramatic if a single hair was out of place and using some more creative license. The positive feedback was astounding !
and with a few more pieces, some tweaking and playing with a new colour palette - my style was born. Something I’d been looking for for more than 10 years.
Anyways, I’m rambling. All this to say, this painting is very significant to me and I hope you love it as much as I do.

Caring For Your Original Artwork
For Originals & Prints:
Handle with care, clean dry hands and keep out of direct sunlight to stop colours from fading quickly.
For Originals:
Your piece has been sealed with a protective varnish, so if you happen to splash something on it, you're free to wipe it off with water with no damage to the painting.
The thin canvas panel lends itself nicely to being framed behind glass, for extra protection.
