About this piece:

I found this picture and kept it to use as a form study (the original is a full body picture), it wasn’t until I was looking at it more closely and playing around with the crop that I realised how sweet and gentle a moment it was.
The full picture was a bit underwhelming and messy but hidden in plain sight was a tender moment - so natural and every day that it felt ~ mundane.

It made me think of my own life and how many special mundane moments might pass me by without my knowing. I wanted to paint this to remind me to open my eyes and see all the wonderful things that are hidden in plain sight in my life too.

I hope whenever you look at it, it reminds you to do the same.

Caring For Your Original Artwork

For Originals & Prints:
Handle with care, clean dry hands and keep out of direct sunlight to stop colours from fading quickly.

For Originals:
Your piece has been sealed with a protective varnish, so if you happen to splash something on it, you're free to wipe it off with water with no damage to the painting.

The thin canvas panel lends itself nicely to being framed behind glass, for extra protection.
