Meet Kai

Ballarat Wildlife Park's resident male tiger and the ambassador for his wild cousins.

Sumatran tigers are the smallest surviving tiger subspecies and are critically endangered, with fewer than 600 believed to remain in the wild.

This painting celebrates not only Kai's beauty, but the importance of protecting his wild cousins for generations to come.
