It changed the trajectory of my life, art went from being a passion project to now a stable part time job because of this painting.\u003cbr\u003eAt the time of painting it, I was feeling pretty defeated with my artistic progress - my technical skill was good but my pieces felt.. flat. Like I was painting these animals but they gave the same feeling as a still life bowl of fruit. Technically impressive but meh. No feeling. This piece was my first attempt at loosening up, being slightly less dramatic if a single hair was out of place and using some more creative license. The positive feedback was \u003cem\u003eastounding \u003c\/em\u003e!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eand with a few more pieces, some tweaking and playing with a new colour palette - my style was born.
